Family and Cosmetic Dentistry
Dr. Kenneth Kay's office is dedicated to providing the highest level of care and service to our patients. We want to keep your smile for a lifetime.
To our wonderful patients:
WE ARE OPEN!!!
Please call to reschedule any missed appointments. We’re open for normal business and are looking forward to seeing all y’all!
How are we keeping you safe?
As you have surely seen during your visits to our office, we have always exceeded the CDC recommendations because infection control has always been a top priority for our practice. Our strict processes have consistently made the care you receive at our office both safe and comfortable, but we have added even more systems in order to keep everyone as safe as possible.
People cough, breathe, talk, and sneeze, and we perform procedures that generate aerosol. All of these actions can potentially release pathogens, such as bacteria and viruses, into the air. Here’s what we’ve added to keep everyone as safe as possible:
- Rerouted air ducts so the air from the treatment rooms stays in the back, away from the reception area. All air is filtered using a HEPA level filter in the HVAC system;
- Added an external suction system to capture aerosol from each patient procedure before it can escape into the air;
- Added an air sanitizing system to kill germs in the air that the two suction systems might miss. This AiroCide system has been used by military hospitals, NASA, the food industry, and the government to kill viruses, bacteria, chemicals, and mold in the air.
All of these systems are designed to keep germs out of the air. If the air is cleaner, it helps all of us stay healthy and safe.
We are also changing some procedures. When you arrive, please sign in and someone will come to your car to get you. Please call to reschedule if you have a fever or other COVID-19 symptoms, have been in contact with someone who has COVID-19, or have traveled out of the country or to a COVID-19 hotspot in the past two weeks. The CDC also requires that all patients wear a mask while in the office.
We look forward to seeing you again and are happy to answer any questions you may have about the steps we take to keep you, and every patient, safe in our practice.
Thank you for trusting us and for being our patient. It's wonderful to be back! Wash your hands and stay safe.
